Company description:

This startup is an effective platform for candidates to find and apply to their next dream jobs. The focus lies on the simplicity of the platform and its mechanics. The platform is a mix between Tinder and Google but for Jobs and without all that hassle.

The startup ultimately focused on bringing simplicity and impact to the recruitment world by delivering a platform that uses intelligent algorithms to do the match making between candidates and jobs.

The platform:

The startup has assembled the most simple and yet powerful platform for a candidate to use and find their next dream job. The candidate just needs to upload his Curriculum Vitae to the platform and the intelligent algorithms will take care of the rest: finding the best matching job offers with the skill set of the candidate and selectively display those curated results back to the candidate. Applying to the job results is as easy as just clicking the button “apply now”. Additionally candidates can subscribe to the newsletter of their matching jobs or share their CV with the verified recruiters at a distance of a click.

Summing up, in 15 clicks a user has performed the upload of his CV, the subscription to the newsletter, the sharing of their CV and has applied to 10 jobs, while only populating or confirming his email address, once after the upload of the CV. Simple, yet effective. …and yes: the candidate has to confirm his email address and the CV has to go through some algorithmic processes in order to verify its integrity before the job applications are passive from being dispatched to the recruiters.

The startup has released the Beta version on the Dutch and Portuguese market.

 

Business Model:

The business model is based around the interactions of candidates and recruiters with the system of the startup. Usage limits will be in-place to each of the stakeholders; additional add-ons can be redeemed on the platform in order to increase the visibility of both the candidate and the recruiters.

The short term business model consists of charging a yearly license to companies that want to publish their job openings at the platform (to gain traction during the beta phase, the startup is offering a lifetime license for the same amount).
Additionally, the startup will charge per day an amount for each job opportunity listed on the platform.
The startup is looking forward to revisit this and add revenue from the interactions of the candidate, offer additional services, such as preparing candidate profile sheets or do consultancy work with recruiters in order to evaluate and preset the candidate profile.
